 Evaluation Procedure

For the evaluation of diet and health products, Monde Selection has drawn up a special evaluation form which includes up to 20 different parameters such as:

• The list of ingredients
• Active substances content
• What about the commercial claims and how are they presented?
• A good description of the benefit of the product
• Inspection of the conformity of the nutritional labelling
• Information on recommended dosage, required conditions of use and use-by date
• Coherence between commercial claims and product composition
• Are there sufficient active elements present to attain the commercial claims?
• The laboratory results of certain analysis
• If needed, sensory analysis may be carried out

Each parameter is balanced in the final aggregate evaluation of the product.
