In order to determine whether a product is to be registered in the 'Dietary Products category' or in the 'Food Products category', Monde Selection will base its decision mainly on the product's commercial claims.
If the product is presented to consumers as being a food supplement or having health benefits, it will be registered and judged in the following product categories:

- Cat. B – Health tea
- Cat. C – Other health drinks (ex: Noni Juices, vinegars,...)
Group II : Diet and Health Food - Cat. A – Based on meat
- Cat. B – Based on seafood
- Cat. C – Based on vegetables & fruits
- Cat. D – Other health foods (chocolate, biscuits,...)
Group III : Food and Health Supplements - Cat. A – Dietetic supplements (Pills, tablets, capsules and ready mix)
- Cat. B – Food supplements (Pills, tablets, capsules and ready mix)
