Closing Ceremony
The Closing Ceremony happens every year, early June, in a major European City.
During this ceremony, Monde Selection officially hands over the “Awards” to the companies that have obtained a quality label that year.
(This ceremony does not include the winners of the International Wine Contest).
This three - day event, widely broadcasted in the international press, happens as follows:
- On Sunday evening takes place the Gala Dinner, in evening or traditional outfit. At this occasion are handed over the prestigious 3, 10 and 25 years trophies. This dinner is offered by Monde Selection to some representatives of the company.
- On Monday morning, a press point is organised at the request of Monde Selection's partners.
- On Monday afternoon happens the official Award Ceremony. Every partner will be invited on to the podium to receive from Monde Selection’s president his award and diploma.
- On Tuesday, Monde Selection organises a guided tour of the city. This offers an excellent opportunity to meet all Monde Selection’s staff, including the presidents of the juries, in order to receive precious advice on quality control. Producers can also exchange useful information on the quality and on the commercial development of their products. A financial contribution will be required. This includes transport, guides, entry fees to the visited places and lunch.
For the good organisation of this event, the company’s participation has to be confirmed through the registration form which joins the result notification sent in April.
Video and photo coverage of the event is foreseen. CD, DVD and individual paper pictures can be ordered.
Monde Selection recommends hotels but does not assume the reservation and accommodation costs of the participants.
