| 25 Years Special Trophy 2008 |  | Our 1st challenge with Monde-Selection dates from 25 years earlier, back then participants from neither Asian countries nor Japan had often been seen at award ceremony. Those days in Japan, only quality competition available for Sake was, and have been organized by national research institute of brewing and called “Shinshu Kanpyou Kai” (quality competition for sake from current brewing year), equivalent to F-1 for the car industry. However there were no quality competitions for the table sake, equivalent to the car of the year. We decided to challenge in the arena of international quality competition and therefore participated in Monde-Selection, with an ambition to discover how our sake would be valued from European standard. Since our 1st challenge, we have been awarded 25 consecutive years, which has greatly influenced to promote our products as well as sales growth. With those 25 years of continuous challenge, we have leant the value of persistence. |

Crystal Prestige Trophy 2007 |  | " We have begun the brewing of the Japanese Sake “Sawanotsuru” in Kobe Japan since 1717. We aimed at the Japanese Sake of global quality and participated in Monde Selection from 25th World Selection in 1987. We underwent a Great Hanshin earthquake in 1995 and stopped participation. Fortunately we revived ourselves afterwards.
In 2007, we won Crystal Prestige Trophy in 45th World Selection and feels it with being serious honor. And it is serious honor to have won Grand Gold Medals and Gold Medals to many products including Daiginjyo-Zuicho which we participated in so far.
Sawanotsuru Co., Ltd. assumes received many prizes in MONDE SELECTION more encouragement.
