The Monde Selection Closing Ceremony 2007 was held in the superb Grand Marina Hotel of Barcelona, Spain. This year's Ceremony was yet again a record year on many accounts. We have indeed had the pleasure to welcome well over 300 guests, ambassadors and counsels, representing a large percentage of the 74 countries present in this year's selections. On top of this, the presence of various media crews and reporters have made this year''s event the most successfull since 1961.

The renowned Monde Selection Closing Ceremony Citytrip was also a great success with more than 100 participants enjoying Barcelona on a beautiful hot spring day.

The visit of the city and the famous Sagrada Familia on an open air bus and the lunch on the Montjuic, was followed by an afternoon visit of the Poble Espanol, a tour and visit enjoyed by all.
