Marketed and produced by the Chinese company Shandong Jingyue Biotechnology Company, this supplement aims to provide probiotics to young children. The strains used in the product are specified and explained to the consumer, but they are also well studied in humans. Studies have shown positive results on the microbiota as well as a potential reduction in the incidence of transit disorders (especially diarrhea).

The B. longum CECT7894 (KABP042) and P. pentosaceus CECT8330 (KABP041) strains could be effective in shortening crying time due to infantile colic and could also be helpful in improving faecal consistency.

Although more studies are still needed, the combination of these strains is already very promising.

Monde Selection’s experts particularly appreciated the following aspects of this product:

– The valuable total contribution of probiotics
– The liquid format is well adapted to the target audience composed of infants and young children
– The simplicity and effectiveness of a well-thought-out and quality product.

All of these reasons led Monde Selection’s experts to confer Kangminjun Yichangshu Compound Probiotics the Grand Gold Quality Award and to nominate it as the winner for the Jury Prize 2022 in the  category of Diet & Health products.

"Each year, one product per category is awarded the Prize of the Jury as a token of excellence in know-how and quality. In order to qualify, the product must be unanimously selected as a “coup de cœur” by the jury members. The winner of the Prize of the Jury is then selected from a group of just 5 nominees, which makes this award an even greater honour for the recipient."
