By definition, the Jury is a group of specialists appointed for their professional knowledge in spirits, spirituoses, distilling processes, liqueurs manufacturing,... whose mission it is to "judge" a product "in all honesty and independency" in order to determine its degree of worth and award it the deserved grade.

Given the number of Categories judged in the Spirits & Liqueurs Selection, Monde Selection calls on specialists of various nationalities. The deliberations take into account that the perception of quality is being influenced world-wide by differences in culture and in habits. All of this in perfect obedience of the stringent Foods Regulations of the European Union and universally recognised tasting procedures & standards.
