What does each recognition mean?

is given to products that achieve final results between 80% and 89%. This level of distinction indicates that your product meets delivers outstanding value and satisfaction in multiple areas, considering unique qualities, intended purpose, market context, and adherence to category standards.

is the highest level of distinction reserved for products that achieve a score of 90% or higher. This award recognizes outstanding quality that goes above and beyond standard expectations. A product awarded the Grand Gold has excelled in nearly every aspect of evaluation.
The Nominee Label is not an award but an initial recognition of quality.
It signifies that your product has successfully passed the first stage of evaluation and has been nominated for a quality award in its category.
At the end of the evaluation season, products that do not achieve Gold or Grand Gold distinctions but meet the required quality threshold of at least 70% retains the Nominee Label as a mark of recognition.
You may follow the same communication guidelines as for the Awards to showcase the Nominee Label in your marketing materials, including your website and social media.

This Trophy is granted to products having obtained a Gold and/or Grand Gold award for 3 consecutive years. It is attributed to the product and may be used internationally on the packaging for a period of 3 years with no license costs.
This Trophy is granted to companies having received a Grand Gold, Gold Award or Nominee Label at least 8 times over a period of 10 years.
Every year, The Prize of the Jury grants one product per Selection which has been unanimously elected by the jury members as a “Coup de Coeur”. At the end of the product evaluation, five products in each selection are selected by the jury for their outstanding qualities. This distinction does not necessarily concern the products that have received the highest grades but rather those that stand out for their specific criteria and parameters such as taste, flavor, innovation and originality.
The Quality Award or Label refers specifically and solely to the related granted product, which can be identified by its name, size, weight (capacity), content and container material.
In case of reference to an obtained Quality Award such reference shall always refer to the related product, and be accompanied by the year of attribution.
The use of the Quality Award or Label is valid with no license costs on the packaging of the granted product for a period of three years from the year and month of the final result notification.
For each Quality Award, two versions are available. The producer is free to choose the one which is the most appropriate according to its packaging design and colour.
In view of homogeneity and visibility for the consumers, the beside Quality Awards are the sole images to be used on the product packaging or for advertisement of the rewarded product.
An exclusion zone is to be respected. It is authorized to place the Award above a background.
To ensure accurate and consistent use, never alter, rotate, embellish, or attempt to recreate the Awards. The proportions and shape of the Awards should never be altered for any reason. To resize, hold the “Shift” key in most software programs to maintain the proportions while scaling up or down. Always maintain the minimum clear space, even when proportionally scaling the Awards.
Consumers should have access to complete, accurate and truthful information. The use of the granted Quality Award must only and strictly reflect the information that has been officially validated by Monde Selection. In order to use it in a consistent and adequate manner, specific rules must be followed.
Please keep in mind that the strenght of the Monde Selection Quality Award is diminished when the brandmarks are used incorrectly. It is essential that all of our brandmarks are always reproduced from the master artwork. The rules apply to all versions of the Awards.
The translation of the obtained Quality Award by the company itself or external parties is not permitted. Please use the official translations when available. It is accepted to translate the level of the award in the country language: Gold and Grand Gold Award or Nominee Label.

The starting date of the use of the award is at reception of the official result notification. Images of the awards as well as official publication material may be obtained through Monde Selection upon written request.
Advertising and use of the award may refer only to the awarded product. The user will ensure, under penalty of having the awards withdrawn due to improper use thereof, that no confusion arises with other products which did not receive the award concerned.
The assortment/set of products: the awards granted to an assortment of products will only be used in publication and advertising in direct reference to the submitted assortment/set. The award can not be used on the products sold individually.
Client commits himself to respect labelling and commercial practices legislation in force in the countries where he distributes his products. Monde Selection will not be held responsible for commercial use noncompliant with local legislation.
The Award or Label may be positioned anywhere on the product packaging as considered appropriate. When using the award, it is important to leave enough clear space or an exclusion zone around it to prevent interference from other elements.
The ideal location for the mark is the front of the packaging in a size large enough for the award to be easily readable.
