The composition of the product is consistent with its presumed objectives. Carotenoids such as lutein and zeaxanthin have a protective role on the eyes through their antioxidant action and blue light filtration. They reduce damage to lens and retinal cells.

Furthermore, astaxanthin exhibits high antioxidant capacity, which could be beneficial in counteracting oxidative stress in various ophthalmic conditions (including AMD, cataracts, and retinopathy).

In a different aspect, DHA is also important for vision, as well as cognitive and cardiovascular health, similar to the aforementioned active substances.
