Targeted probiotic support

Developed by NUTRIMEXX®, a German company with over 25 years of experience in stomach and intestinal health, Pylomed Akut® reflects the brand’s aim to support digestion through high-quality, gentle and targeted nutritional products.

NUTRIMEXX® Pylomed Akut® chewable tablets are developed as a probiotic solution for digestive comfort and the management of Helicobacter pylori-related conditions. The chewable tablets offer a practical intake mode that facilitates regular use without the need for water.

Clear and transparent product information, including a complete nutritional table detailing active content, facilitates understanding of the formulation and its intended use.

The product demonstrates good overall tolerance, with no major adverse effects reported, and is suitable for a wide range of users. It is free from gluten, lactose and fructose, and is compatible with individuals with diabetes.

The scientific basis supporting the strain Lactobacillus reuteri DSM17648 is well established, with meta-analyses and clinical trials highlighting its role in improving treatment tolerance and digestive comfort. L. reuteri is among the most extensively studied probiotic strains, with documented effects across a range of digestive conditions, including H. pylori infection, colic, constipation and diarrhoea.

It may also serve as an adjunct to conventional therapies, with several studies indicating that Lactobacillus reuteri, when used alongside standard treatment, may improve eradication rates of H. pylori and help reduce gastrointestinal side effects such as bloating, gastric discomfort and mild abdominal pain.

The dosage is significant, providing between 20 and 40 billion CFU per day, which aligns with the ranges used in clinical studies (from 200 million to 50 billion CFU per day), supporting its appropriateness within a supplementation context.

Its targeted mechanism and scientific backing position it as a noteworthy contender for the 2026 Jury Prize.
