The jury was immediately struck by the visual clarity of the product. Crystal clear with no trace of turbidity or particles, the water meets premium expectations for still mineral water and communicates a high level of production control.

Aromatically, the water is virtually odourless—a positive trait for this category. Its neutral aromatic profile supports the perception of purity and reinforces confidence in the quality of its source.

On the palate, Dongwon Mineral Water offers a clean and unobtrusive experience. Its low mineral content gives it a soft, silky mouthfeel, making it easy to drink and highly quenching. While most tasters found the finish neutral and seamless, a few detected a faint bitterness on the aftertaste, lending a whisper of complexity that did not detract from its overall refreshment.

For its clarity, gentle texture and quiet precision, Dongwon Mineral Water earns its place as a finalist for the 2025 Jury Prize.
