Protecting female bone density

Female bone density increases by increments until around age 30, when bones reach their maximum mineral density. Past that age, bone mass begins to gradually decline. The density reduction accelerates even further after menopause, which generally occurs after age 50.

This may oftentimes lead to osteoporosis, a condition that is characterised by bone density loss, which causes the bones to become more fragile and prone to fracture. In order to maintain adequate bone density, the body requires proper calcium and mineral intakes. It must also produce a suitable amount of different hormone types, such as the parathyroid hormone, growth hormone, calcitonin, oestrogen, and testosterone. A proper vitamin D intake is also necessary to help the body effectively absorb calcium from food in order to contribute to bone maintenance and growth. It should be noted in passing that vitamin D is absorbed from food and is also synthesised in the skin upon exposure to direct sunlight.

To help meet these objectives and bolster overall female bone density, the Taiwanese Company by the name of Real Promise co ltd. has developed a nutritional supplement compound made up of calcium (in microcrystalline hydroxyapatite form), vitamin D and vitamin K, magnesium and phosphorus.  Recognised for their bonesupporting properties, the above-listed elements are all contained in the MCH Elite capsules and are generally administered four times a day or as recommended by the medical physician to foster optimal bone health. In this sense, the Monde Selection jury commended the product’s remarkably well-balanced calcium tophosphorus ratio, its excellent bioavailability of added nutrients, and its substantial daily nutrient intakes relative to European benchmarks, particularly its high levels of calcium, vitamin D and vitamin K.

“Each year, one product per category is awarded the Prize of the Jury as a token of excellence in know-how and quality. In order to qualify, the product must be unanimously selected as a “coup de cœur” by the jury members. The winner of the Prize of the Jury is then selected from a group of just 5 nominees, which makes this award an even greater honour for the recipient.”
