However, the initial grain notes later dissipate, revealing pleasant and subtle spicy undertones. Overall, the nose is powerful, complex and intensely infused with sorghum, offering a bewildering yet delightful aromatic profile.

This intensity continues on the palate, where the whisky delivers a long and powerful taste. The flavour profile is rich and complex, carrying forward the sorghum and spice notes with a remarkable consistency. Despite its 57 degrees of alcohol, it maintains a balanced profile, making for an impressively smooth and coherent tasting experience.

The mouthfeel is both powerful and intense, reflecting the high alcohol content while remaining intriguingly balanced.

For all these qualities, the experts from Monde Selection have decided to designate this product as the winner for this year’s Jury Prize 2024.
